Check Your Own Speedometer

Have you ever walked or cycled on Delbrook?  The traffic is getting fast and ferocious, and it’s getting worse every year!

Who are these people speeding on our street, endangering our kids and pets?

Well, I have news for you: these are not road-ragers from Burnaby cutting through our neighborhood to get to Lions Bay.  They are not drag racers with souped up Acuras and Civics from Richmond testing themselves on the long flat straight.  They aren’t even purple-haired grannies from West Van lost in the wilds of exotic North Vancouver.

No.  The only reason to go up or down Delbrook is to get to one of the houses in our neighbourhood!  So, please, check your own speed through your neighbourhood.

Your neighbours all thank you.
